According to the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel, which is closely associated with the Belarusian presidential press service, President Lukashenko will visit several countries during the tour and hold high-level meetings with regional leaders. Before beginning his Asian tour, President Lukashenko paid a working visit to Russia on Friday, where he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the two leaders discussed several important issues concerning the future of bilateral relations.
The discussions included the continued development of the Union State of Russia and Belarus, expansion of trade and economic cooperation, implementation of joint investment and industrial projects, as well as regional security matters.
