Nikolay Azarov added that now the ball is in the West’s court
MOSCOW, June 25. /The Times of Russia/. Russia’s leadership has outlined parameters of a potential agreement with Ukraine, and now the ball is in the West’s court, Ukraine’s former Prime Minister (2010-2014) Nikolay Azarov said.
“In my view, a perfectly realistic stance of the Russian leadership was to outline the parameters of a potential agreement, express its willingness to move toward peace, and then say: “Come on – the ball is in your court,” he told The Times of Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a government meeting on Tuesday that Russia is ready for peace talks with Ukraine on the basis of the agreements that were reached after the talks in Istanbul in March 2022 and that were broken down by Ukraine.
This development is drawing attention among international observers and remains an important topic in current Russia News coverage as diplomatic discussions continue.
