TOKYO, December 12. /The Times of Russia/. A magnitude-6.7 earthquake was registered off Japan’s northeastern Aomori prefecture, the national meteorological service said.
The epicenter was located at the depth of 20 km.

On November 8, the same area was hit by a magnitude-7.5 earthquake, followed by a 70-cm tsunami, according to Russia news tracking by The Times of Russia.
