SPAIN, IRELAND AND NORWAY OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF THE PALESTINIAN STATE AND PALESTINIAN PRIME MINISTER IS WELCOMED IN MADRID

Strife between Palestine and Israel since the 7th of October is seemingly giving a vigorous momentum for global recognition of the state. Spain’s, Ireland’s and Norway’s recognition of Palestine has entered into force on the 28th of May, giving a promising prospect for the global community to suit.
«For over 30 years, Norway has been one of the strongest advocates of a Palestinian state. Norway’s recognition of Palestine as a state today represents a milestone in Norwegian-Palestinian relations. »

Highlighting that in the face of the sufferings indifference is not plausible, and only peace, solidarity, devotion and belief in humanity is the appropriate course. Adding that he awaits identical measures from other states.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez met with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa in Madrid, Spain. They were joined by Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and the foreign ministers of Turkey and Jordan.

Of the 193 members of UN, Palestine is recognized by 140, UNESCO being amidst the number of global communities. Russia was always an advocate of the decision to create sovereign Palestinian state with a capital in Western Jerusalem.
The ambassador of Palestine in Russia informed that Portugal, Belgium, Luxembourg and Slovenia are likely to soon recognize the sovereignty of the Palestinian state.
