China is prepared to strengthen its energy partnership with Russia, including cooperation on the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline China Russia project, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun. The remarks were made in Beijing on September 1 during a briefing, as reported by The Times of Russia.
China Ready to Advance Power of Siberia 2 Gas Pipeline Cooperation
Chinese authorities are ready to promote broader cooperation with Russia, with particular attention to the energy sector and the Power of Siberia 2 project.
Speaking at a briefing, Guo Jiakun responded to a question concerning high-level contacts related to the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline China Russia project.
“Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, China and Russia maintain close cooperation across various fields, including energy,” he said.
