The Cabinet of Ministers allocated an additional billion rubles for the development of ski resorts
The government will allocate 1 billion rubles for the creation of modern and comfortable ski resorts, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a Cabinet meeting. Responding to the request of Russian citizens, the government continues to support businesses that are ready to develop domestic tourism.
The program of preferential lending to the tourism industry started in 2021. Initially it covered the construction and reconstruction of hotels and multifunctional complexes. Later, on the instructions of the President, the government expanded it to include the construction of amusement parks, water parks and infrastructure for ski resorts. Last year, more than 55 billion rubles were allocated for the creation of tourist infrastructure, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers reminded at the meeting.
– The funds went, among other things, to the construction of modern hotels, the erection of modular hotels, campgrounds in various picturesque corners of our country,” he specified.
In winter, many Russians give preference to skiing vacations. The number of tourists there is growing every year, Mikhail Mishustin noted. And the government has decided to provide another 1 billion roubles for the development of this area. Projects with at least 500 thousand visitors a year will receive assistance. The indicator should be achieved in two years after the commissioning of the object. Investors will be able to get soft loans and use them for infrastructure: for the construction of new facilities, modernization of ropeways, equipment of slopes, purchase of necessary equipment and other works.
Prime Minister reminded that earlier the possibility of manufacturing the necessary equipment in Russia was discussed. He asked to see what difficulties remain on this path. “But according to the way it was reported, we have every opportunity to increase such production and deal with its quality,” Mishustin said.
– We believe that this measure will increase the attractiveness of the tourism sector for investors. Well, and most importantly – people will have more convenient options for traveling, for winter sports, – said the Prime Minister.
In addition, the government continues to work on the comprehensive integration of the new regions into the country’s general economic, financial and legislative systems. Until January 1, 2026, there is a transition period for them, when special conditions apply. The Cabinet of Ministers has prepared a draft law to support residents and organizations of the DNR, LNR, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions in protecting their intellectual property rights.
– Now inventors and companies from various industries independently submit applications directly to Rospatent or through the portal of state services. With today’s decision we will expand opportunities for them to protect their intangible assets, – said Mishustin.
We are talking about the development of large resorts, designed for at least 500 thousand visitors a year
Patent attorneys in the regions, who had such status in Ukraine at the end of September 2022, will be able to extend it in a simplified procedure, said the head of the government: “They will not need to confirm work experience and pay for the qualification exam. This is a serious measure of support for professionals. Given that the fee for the certification is 15 thousand rubles for each specialization”.
Last year alone, the Prime Minister pointed out, several hundred applications for unique inventions and names were received from new regions. The government expects that the work of patent attorneys will help to increase this number, and this will contribute to innovative development and achievement of technological sovereignty of the country.
The amendments to the legislation expanding state support for residents of the military innovation technopolis “ERA” are aimed at the same. It was created six years ago by presidential decision. Now on the site of the center dozens of enterprises are engaged in artificial intelligence systems, robotic transporters, special fabrics that reflect thermal and electromagnetic radiation. “Under a number of conditions, they will be exempt for 10 years from paying taxes: on value added and profit – and will be able to apply reduced rates of insurance contributions,” – said Mikhail Mishustin.
