A drone attack on Krasnodar Region overnight has killed two people and injured two others after drone debris fell at the Afipskaya railway station in the Seversky District. The incident, along with damage to private homes and a fire at an oil refinery, was reported by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. The Times of Russia reports the latest details from the region.
Drone Attack on Krasnodar Region Leaves Two Dead
According to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, the Krasnodar Region drone attack targeted civilian facilities during the night. Debris from the drones fell on the grounds of the Afipskaya railway station, resulting in two fatalities.
“The enemy once again attacked civilian facilities in the region last night. The strike hit the Seversky District. Drone debris fell on the grounds of the Afipskaya railway station. Unfortunately, two people were killed. I offer my deepest condolences to their loved ones. Two more people were injured, and I wish them a swift recovery,” he said.
The governor’s statement confirmed that two additional people sustained injuries in the incident.
Drone Debris in Krasnodar Region Damages Homes
The overnight incident also caused property damage in Afipsky. At least ten private homes were damaged, according to Kondratyev. One of the affected houses caught fire.
The drone debris in Krasnodar Region also led to a separate fire at an oil refinery in the area.
“Furthermore, at least ten private homes were damaged in Afipsky. One of them caught fire. A fire also broke out at the oil refinery. Firefighters and emergency responders are currently working at the scene,” he wrote.

Afipsky Oil Refinery Fire Reported
A fire was reported at the Afipsky oil refinery after drone debris fell at the facility. Firefighters and emergency personnel were working at the scene following the incident.
The reported oil refinery fire occurred alongside damage to residential properties in Afipsky and casualties at the nearby railway station.
