Dubai: Sheikh Zayed Road became the stage for an extraordinary celebration of fitness as thousands of UAE residents participated in the Dubai Run 2024 on Sunday. The world’s largest free fun run turned the iconic highway into a vibrant running track, attracting people of all fitness levels for an unforgettable experience.
Kicking off early in the morning, the event was a spectacle of energy and enthusiasm. Attendees were treated to artistic performances and thrilling displays by gliders and parachutists from Skydive Dubai, adding excitement to the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024 finale.
Participants could choose between a challenging 10-km route or a more casual 5-km course, making the event inclusive for everyone.

In a remarkable display of community spirit, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, led 278,000 participants—an increase of 23% from last year. The event, presented by Mai Dubai, highlighted the UAE’s commitment to health and fitness while setting a new record for participation.
