Mahatma Shri Prem Prayojan, the founder and president of the “Sri Chaitanya International Academy,” is a renowned Sanskrit scholar and researcher of the Vedic tradition. Through his regular spiritual educational retreats to sacred sites across India, or Bharata Varsha as it was historically known, he continues to spread the profound wisdom of the Vedas. His educational tours have also extended globally to countries such as Russia, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
This year, Mahatma Shri Prem Prayojan brought his teachings to the world stage by presenting a master class on the Vedic theory of dramatic art at the annual International Festival of BRICS Theater Schools in Moscow. Under his guidance, three groundbreaking theatrical performances were staged at the Ananda Dham Ashram in the holy town of Vrindavan, India, featuring a diverse cast from Russia, Italy, Spain, the USA, Chile, Japan, and other nations.
On November 3, the play “Secrets of Govardhan” premiered, recounting the mystical history of Govardhan Hill as narrated in the Puranas and other Vedic texts. Following this, the grand premiere of “Pearls of the Ramayana Necklace”took place on November 7. The 2.5-hour production featured an Italian couple, Raffaele Bellarosa (Rasik Shekhar Das) and Federica Martucci (Shyama Priya Dasi), as Lord Rama and Sita, who are devoted students of Mahatma Shri Prem Prayojan. On November 13, the mystical drama “The Incredible Beauty of Prema” premiered, highlighting the divine pastimes of Lord Shiva, Sita Devi, and the transcendental love of Sri Sri Radha and Krishna.
The scripts for all three performances were crafted by Dr. Sergei Dvoryanov, who also delivered a compelling portrayal of the demon Ravana in “Pearls of the Ramayana Necklace.”
Mahatma Shri Prem Prayojan believes that the spiritual wisdom contained in the Vedas is a unique instrument for fostering dialogue between civilizations and uniting humanity through shared traditional values. He envisions a new spiritual era—a Golden Age of Harmony and Love—ushered in by this knowledge.
As a testament to his influence, Mahatma Shri Prem Prayojan has been invited as an expert and spiritual leader to the Inter-Parliamentary Forum on “Traditional Values,” taking place in Moscow from November 17 to 20, 2024. His remote address on November 20 at the Moscow House of Nationalities will further highlight the transformative potential of Vedic wisdom in shaping a harmonious and spiritually evolved society.
