Putin Honored with New Grozny District Named After Him
Grozny, August 20, 2024 – Russian President Vladimir Putin was honored with a symbolic gesture during his visit to Grozny as he was presented with a model of a new district named in his honor. The presentation took place at the residence of the regional head, Ramzan Kadyrov, on Tuesday evening.
Upon arrival, President Putin was warmly greeted by members of the Kadyrov family, including Kadyrov’s mother, Aimani Kadyrova, his wife, sisters, and children. The group captured the moment with a commemorative photo.
The new district, described as a grand investment project, was personally showcased by Ramzan Kadyrov. The project is set to become a major highlight of Grozny, featuring a comprehensive complex of residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities, aiming to enhance the capital of the Chechen Republic.
