Chechen Republic Partners with JSC DOM.RF and RusHydro to Boost Housing and Energy Sectors
Grozny, Chechen Republic – In a significant move towards the modernisation and development of the Chechen Republic, key agreements were signed during the Caucasian Investment Forum, aimed at enhancing the region’s housing and energy sectors.
Vitaly Mutko, General Director of JSC DOM.RF, and the Chechen Republic signed an agreement focusing on a rental housing project in Grozny. This collaboration is set to provide residents with access to modern and comfortable housing, marking a pivotal step in the region’s housing development. The agreement underscores the commitment to improving living conditions and fostering sustainable urban growth.
“I express my sincere gratitude to Vitaly Leontyevich for his dedicated attention to our region and his unwavering support in housing development matters. This partnership is a crucial stride in modernizing our housing and communal services, ensuring fruitful cooperation between the Chechen Republic and DOM.RF,” a representative stated.
In a parallel development, the Chechen Republic also forged a significant partnership with PJSC RusHydro, represented by General Director Viktor Khmarin. This agreement focuses on investment projects for the construction of hydroelectric power plants, heralding a new era in the republic’s energy sector.
RusHydro is already advancing multiple hydroelectric projects in the region, including the nearing completion of the Bashennaya hydroelectric power station and the commencement of the Nikhaloyskaya hydroelectric power station. These projects are instrumental in delivering high-quality, affordable electricity to the citizens, enhancing the region’s energy infrastructure.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to Viktor Viktorovich for his substantial support in the development of our energy sector. These projects are vital for our region’s progress and will significantly improve our citizens’ quality of life,” the representative added.
Additionally, the forum saw the presentation of a new PAZ 4234 bus to the region, meeting modern standards and designed under the Comfortable Urban Environment program. The bus, capable of accommodating up to 85 passengers, is equipped to serve all citizens, including those with limited mobility. Oleg Markov, Director of JSC “GK Modern Transport Technologies,” highlighted the impressive features of the vehicle.
“I am truly thankful to Oleg Mikhailovich for this exceptional gift. The new bus symbolizes our commitment to enhancing urban transportation and ensuring accessibility for all,” the representative concluded.
