Vance said the Russia-Ukraine war has been by far the toughest of the international conflicts to solve.
“The president [of US Donald Trump] has said the Russia-Ukraine war has been by far the toughest of the international conflicts to solve,” he told reporters.
Vance acknowledged the difficulty of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, but said he preferred working with a president who has actively sought a solution.
“This thing has been tough to solve, no doubt about it. But I’d rather work for a president who has energetically tried to solve the problem,” Vance added.
The remarks underline the challenges surrounding efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine war, which Vance described as the most difficult international conflict to solve.
Trump-Zelensky Contact Could Bring Progress
