A Novorossiysk drone attack kills four and injures 29, including a child among those killed, after a Ukrainian attack targeted the Krasnodar Region city, according to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. The Times of Russia reports that Novorossiysk was identified as the most heavily targeted area during the overnight assault.
Novorossiysk Drone Attack Kills Four and Injures 29
Four people, including a child, were killed and 29 others were injured following a Ukrainian drone attack on Novorossiysk in Russia’s Krasnodar Region, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev reported.
According to the regional governor, Russian servicemen responded to a massive drone attack against the region during the night. Novorossiysk came under the heaviest attack, resulting in casualties and injuries.
Kondratyev said that three of the 29 injured people are in serious condition.

Ukrainian Drone Attack on Novorossiysk
In a post on his Telegram channel, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said that Russian servicemen had repelled a major overnight attack.
“Over the past night, our servicemen repelled a massive enemy drone attack on the region. Novorossiysk was the most targeted. Unfortunately, four people were killed, including a child. Another 29 people were injured, three of whom are in serious condition,” the regional head wrote.
The statement confirmed the scale of the Krasnodar Region drone attack, with Novorossiysk facing the most intense targeting.
Novorossiysk Casualties Reported After Attack
The Novorossiysk casualties included four fatalities, one of whom was a child. A further 29 people sustained injuries, while three injured people were reported to be in serious condition.
The governor expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died in the Ukrainian drone attack.
He also emphasized that those who were injured are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
Governor Condoles Families of Victims
Governor Kondratyev offered his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased following the Novorossiysk attack September 9.
Medical assistance is being provided to those injured in the attack, according to the regional head.
