ST. PETERSBURG, August 4 — Six unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the Leningrad Region, Governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed.
In a statement shared on his Max channel, Drozdenko said that six UAVs downed over Leningrad Region had been successfully intercepted. He also noted that combat operations are still in progress.
“Six UAVs have been shot down over the Leningrad Region. Combat operations are ongoing,” Drozdenko wrote.
Officials have not released additional details regarding the locations of the interceptions or any possible damage. The statement only confirmed that air defense activities remain active across the region.
