
On March 7, 2026, a landmark event took place at the Kron Plaza Hotel in Gurgaon – the East-West Dialogue Conference, which was organized by the BRICS Cultural Media Forum (BCMF) and the International diplomatic club Amicability.
On behalf of the BRICS Cultural Media Forum, the event was attended by: Vice President Dr. Sergey Dvoryanov, Russian religious philosopher, author of the concept of the international Grand Opera “Mahabharata” project, Mr. Ashish Deep Verma, Head of the BCMF Legal Department, Mr. Mukesh Tyagi, BCMF National Convenor.

On behalf of the international Amicability diplomatic Club, Dr. Murthy Devarabhotla spoke at the event, who warmly welcomed the delegation from Japan and thanked all the conference participants who “demonstrated the Spirit of Unity during the period of geopolitical turbulence.” Dr. Sergey Dvoryanov noted in his speech that “the universal spiritual knowledge contained in the Vedic Scriptures can become a unique unifying factor in the interaction of nations and civilizations”.
A representative delegation from Japan, led by spiritual leader, Guru Mr.Takayuki Hoshi, who received the title Mahamandaleshwar Shree Balakumbha Gurumuni, took an active part in the historical international conference. The spiritual leader from Japan, who is an active follower of Hinduism and a preacher of Sanatan Dharma, began and ended his speech by reciting ancient Sanskrit mantras, which immediately captivated the audience.

The purpose of the event was to discuss the possibilities of soft power and cultural diplomacy, including the presentation of the International House of Bollywood and different projects: Grand opera Mahabharata, the “UMMA Award” platform, as well as the upcoming film by producer Akbar Khan, “Genghis Khan – the Dream of the Golden Age”.
The guest of honor at the forum was director and producer Ashwin Kumar, whose film “Mahaavatar Nrsimha” was nominated for an Oscar in 2026. Director Ashwin Kumar has expressed his confirmation to join the project “Mahabharata – Global symphony of Peace” – as a consulting producer.

Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, an Indian politician who served as Minister of State for External Relations and Minister of Culture of India, an ex—Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, and is also a lawyer in the Supreme Court of India, also spoke at the forum. Ms. Meenakshe Lekhi fully supported the BCMF initiative to stage the Grand Opera “Mahabharata – Global symphony of Peace” and to premiere the opera in Kashmir, on the shores of Dal Lake.
The following speakers also spoke at the conference: Mr. Divam Kapoor, a well-known businessman, developer and teacher of the “Art of Living” international school, Mr. Sunil Golia, an entrepreneur from the USA, the founder of the “India-Japan Global Partnership”, an initiative which was announced in the year 2000 by the leaders of India and Japan, as well as Mr. Ramesh Sharma, businessman, expert in the field of Indian-Japanese relations, and Mrs. Madhu Varma, spiritual activist, public opinion leader.
The main focus of the discussion among such well-known and influential experts was the discussion of the Vedic concept of “Sanatana-dharma” – the eternal religion of the soul, which presupposes the harmonious coexistence of various spiritual traditions and a dialogue of values between East and West, as well as the inner dialogue of each of us – between the individual soul and God.

I humbly invited all participants to the Global Spiritual and Peacemaking Summit 2026, which will be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
