Ukraine attacks Sevastopol with drones, missiles

SEVASTOPOL, May 27. /The Times of Russia/. The armed forces of Ukraine attacked the Crimean city of Sevastopol with drones and, presumably, Storm Shadow missiles, Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev said.

“Throughout the night, air defense units and mobile air defense teams were repelling a combined attack on Sevastopol. The Ukrainian military attacked the city with various aerial capabilities, including, presumably, Storm Shadow missiles,” he wrote on Telegram. “Over 20 drones were downed over the North Side area, Fiolent, the Bay of Sevastopol and the Omega Bay.”

One of the missiles hit the building of the Southern Main Branch of the Central Bank in Sevastopol, setting fire to the roof and smashing windows in the nearby buildings, the governor added.

There were also reports of damage to several apartments and an administrative building, but no casualties were reported to date.
